Acute Renal Failure Due to Multiple Hornet Stings and Snake Bite

Abstract

|
We experienced 2 cases of acute renal failure caused by bee stings and snake bite. A man experienced a toxic reaction following multiple Hornet stings. After an initial anaphylactic reactions he presented a delayed acute renal failure secondary
to
rhabdomyolysis. A second clinical case is a 48-year-old man bitten by Natrix tigrina lateralis. He presented with acute renal failure secondary to hemolysis and afibrinogenemia with thrombocytopenia. They completely recovered without sequale
after
peritoneal dialysis.
